Your local Library will probably have a display of books that you shouldn't be reading. Visit them and see the "scary" books.

In fact, here is a list of the most dangerous books: Link

Enjoy them while you can.

I'm a big fan of not banning books. I own more than a few of the books on that list, and have encouraged my daughter to read some of them.

If we're going to learn from our history, we have to acknowledge that it happened.  Banning books isn't acknowledging it in any shape or form.

No more banned books!

I'm sad to say I've only read 10 of the top 100 books. But then again I'm not likely to need to read a "teen girl's guide to her changing body" or a few other specific books of that sort. Well, at least not for another 11 to 14 years, I hope.

While I'm not a fan of banning books either, I certainly do see books where I understand why people who think book-banning is acceptable would want them banned. "Sex" by Madonna, for example.
On the other hand, I was flabbergasted to see "Where's Waldo?" and a few others on the list.
