To the reporter on the beach in the middle of the hurricane.

Get your butt in the shelter !!!! It’s a flippin HURRICANE !!! Wond, water, damage. We get it. Stop shouting into the mike about stuff we can get from the smart guy 1,000 miles away in the studio and get your white ass into the bunker!

Did you ever notice you rarely see black reporters in the middle of hurricanes and severe, life-threatening weather?

Hello… you in the thin raincoat, desperately trying to stay upright. We see the trees bent over, the boats sinking and I do not need to see the idiot surfer trying to catch the “narly waves dude!” The man you are videoing has taken a few too many boards to the head or had a few too many “special” cigarettes.

Buddy, come on. Even the looters have left. Take the hint. If you have to shout into your mike: “I don’t know how much longer I can broadcast.” Get your behind in the van and find steel and concrete.

Please. Get help.

I too have found myself wondering what the reporter was doing outside in the middle of a hurricane.
